Hehe It's not a license type silly. It's a media type. When Microsoft refers to Office 2007 Hybrid Edition, it is in reference to a special Hybrid CD/ISO availiable to install any version of Office 2007. Normally every 2007 disk is compatible with one license type such as Basic/Professional/VLK. The Hybrid disk will accept any of those licenses to install with. If you buy the 2007 tryout/OEM kit it allows you to go to where you can register to get a copy of the Hybrid disk mailed or downloadable since there's no physical media included in the pack.
You're welcome. Another question regarding Office 2007 Hybrid. Every morning when I turn on the PC, I am prompted that Office Hybrid is installing and to wait or cancel. If I wait (approx 5 min.) I am told that changes will take place after I restart. Next morning, same message. If I just cancel, then the PC loads as normal and off I go.

I Googled also, and came up with many hits, including that MS KB, none of which would tell me what the 'hybrid' actually is;-) -- Tom [Pepper] Willett 'You're a daisy if you do!' ---- 'Opinicus' wrote in message news:13gngq12i545181@news.supernews.com.
