What type of computer is this? Because you've mentioned a problem with keeping time on the computer, I'll guess this is an old computer which you've upgraded to Windows 7. If that's the case, then the time issue could well be a problem with the CMOS battery. They can be replaced easily and cheaply by yourself, if you choose to do so. You also mention ALL drivers being installed. How do you know you've got the right ones installed?
Did you install the motherboard/chipset driver and the UAA bus driver BEFORE installing the sound driver? It's required on some computers especially those with Realtek audio drivers. Hope this helps and let us know more. This is desktop and you are right I have upgraded to win 7. The truth is the computer is very old and xp was installed previously. The processor was as I know Intel Celeron 2.5GHz and old motherboard.
I upgraded to win 7 on that machine but could not function properly with win 7 so I changed the processor to Intel Core 2 Duo (Intel Core 2 CPU 6300 @ 1.86GHz) and changed the motherboard that is compatible with this processor. I also added 1GB ram to make the total of 2GB. The person who did this job installed every drivers(there was not any missing drivers shown in device manager) and later I knew there was no sound. Download Radio Shack X10 Controller Manual Free. I thought that the sound works re-installing win 7 and again re-installed win 7 formatting the previous one. I installed all drivers required by driver pack solution and there were no missing drivers shown in the device manager. I also checked that the problem is my speakers but my speakers work perfectly in other computers. For additional details I always get this message in the beginning of each time when I turn on the computer.
