Squier Company manufactured strings for violins, banjos, and guitars. It was established in 1890 by Victor Carroll Squier in Battle Creek, Michigan. Well gang here it is the ultimate list on serial numbers from today to yesterday. Now I know there are a few yawning out there but think of those who do not know how. I am a little embarrassed to list - feel the need to explain and justify. A list: Maton Countryman 2000 or 2001 - same specs as ECW80C. These were sold through World of Music stores for a while. They have a little extra dressing than a CW80.
THis one's old faithful and has probably played a couple of hundred or more gigs and is starting to look like it: ) USA Strat Deluxe 2004 - it's got the 50th anniversary plate on the back, but it isn't the special edition with the gold hardware and tweed case - just the normal one. This is a nice guitar and it's still in good nick:) It look's a bit like Johnno's but with maple fretboard (maple's the light one right?) Yamaha APX900 - Thinline acoustic.
I've been playing bands for the past 6 years and have just moved onto greener pastures in acoustic duo land. So I treated myself.
I'm still getting used to this and fighting to get a sound I'm happy with amplified. B List: Ibanez Earthwood (?) acoustic with cutaway and fishman pickup. Was cheap, should have been a bargain considering solid (not laminate) top, cutaway and pickup for $600.
Too bad it plays like a pig. How it sounds is irrelevant. This has been replaced by Yamaha above and it's ultimate fate awaits! Cort 12 string acoustic with pickup - was the first electric acoustic I got (1999 or 2000) and first and only 12 string. Sent it in for a setup a couple of years ago because of fret buzz.
Came back with fret buzz. Cracked it, put it away and haven't gotten it out again. May give it another shot in acoustic duo land. Just that it means springing for a setup and a pack of strings - then there's the tuning!
Yamaha plain old acoustic. Got this in 1996 for 18th birthday. Hard to play, sounds pretty ordinary. It's over at my neigbour's place.
Might get it back. Bass: Also own a musicman stingray 2005. Got it after trusty old Washburn was lost or pinched at a gig.
'97 Fender Powerhouse Strat, artic white, rosewood fretboard, 12db boost, Vintage Noiseless Pickups. '06 Epiphone '60's reissue' SG 10, 2 burstbucker 3's (Epiphone pickups were crap). '06 Epiphone EDS-1275 Doubleneck, Heritage Cherry(can't afford 4 Gibson pickups) lol '04 Yamaha Acoustic. '05 Fender Cyber Twin.
Finding it hard to get a Gibson SG with as nice a neck as the Epi, VERY nice, esp with the new pickups. Vintage noiseless pickups transformed the Powerhouse, needs fretwork now, played the ass out of her:) 1275 The Song Remains the Same. XD Edit: added picture MUST get a Les!!! I have 2 broken guitars. A broken ashton steel string acoustic (don't know what make) which was kicked over by my hungover brother and the head smashed off. It got fixed with VERY strong glue and 3 screws. My eletric which is played most I just fixed.
It rattled coz the nut always came loose. It's just a crappy little Squire. California series Strat. Depends on the lighting it's either purple, blue or black and it's sparkly. I didn't chose it. It's not the best but it gets me by (I REALLY SHOULD CHANGE THE STRINGS!!
I've had the same for nearly 2 years!!). Why don't we give this a bit of a bump since we have most likely different people on the board too?:) I have the typical 1) Epiphone Les Paul Standard – Ebony First guitar, didn't know what I wanted, but I love the sound on it still:) Finding the neck too thick though.
